Serves 4 as an appetizer
1 wheel Point Reyes Truffle Brie, top rind removed & at room temperature
2 tablespoons turbinado sugar
Dried fruit & nut crackers, for serving
Pour turbinado onto top of open wheel of Truffle Brie, directly on the gooey brie paste, creating an even layer of sugar.
Using a kitchen torch, slowly and evenly cook the sugar until it is browned. (It is best to start with the torch farther back from the cheese than you think, moving closer slowly as the sugar begins to brown.)
Serve immediately with your favorite dried fruit and nut crackers.
