As a company, as a family and as individuals we have spent much of our time this last week listening, reflecting and learning. Inclusion of the Black community at our table is and will continue to be an absolute priority. While we have a long way to go, we believe creating conversation and connection is vital, especially in good company and surrounded by fresh, healthy food.
To the Black community we pledge:
A commitment to diverse hiring practices
To continue to foster a work environment that embraces diversity
To conduct ongoing diversity and inclusion workshops with our staff
To support Black-owned vendors/suppliers whenever possible
To promote Black-owned retailers and restaurants
To celebrate Black cheesemongers and chefs
To always stand up for and represent equality in and out of the workplace, every single day
This is not a fleeting movement. This is a critical and necessary time in the history of humanity and we will not accept injustice.
We are allies and we will do more.
