S’mores Grilled Cheese with Aged Gouda

S’mores Grilled Cheese with Aged Gouda

Makes 2 sandwiches

 

Trust us, this Grilled Cheese is over-the-top delicious and incredibly decadent.  The addition of our Aged Gouda adds a caramel, nutty richness to this iconic campfire dessert and truly takes it to the next level.  We think you’ll agree.

 

4 tablespoons butter, softened

½ teaspoon sugar

½ teaspoon cinnamon

8 slices sliced brioche

4 ounces of shredded Point Reyes Farmstead Aged Gouda

3 cups mini marshmallows

1 cup chocolate chips

4 graham crackers, crushed

 

In a small bowl, combine softened butter, sugar and cinnamon.  Butter the outside of each slice of bread equally.  Place bread on a work surface so the buttered side is down.

 

Top 4 of the slices of bread with equal amounts of shredded Gouda, mini marshmallows, chocolate chips and crushed graham crackers. Top with remaining bread slices so the buttered side is up.

 

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook sandwiches, working in batches as needed, until bread is golden and filling is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side. 

 

Let sit just a few minutes before eating.
