Brûléed Quinta with Rustic Bakery Sweet Heart Cookies
Serves 6-10
1 wheel Point Reyes Quinta, top rind removed
1 tablespoon brown sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
Rustic Bakery Sweet Hearts, for serving
Preheat oven to 350°. Place Quinta in small cast iron skillet or baking dish and bake for 10 minutes or until heated through. Remove from oven and switch oven to broil.
Sprinkle brown sugar and salt on top of Quinta and return to oven to broil. Alternatively, you can use a cooking torch to caramelize the sugar. Broil until sugar has caramelized and is beginning to darken in spots. Remove from oven, let cool 5-7 minutes and serve spooned onto Rustic Bakery Sweet Hearts.
